Breast augmentation cost in NYC
The cost of breast augmentation varies widely depending on your geographic location, your choice of silicone or saline implants, and the reputation and results of the surgeon you have chosen.
Research your local options by calling the offices of board-certified plastic surgeons in your area. Remember that breast augmentation is real surgery.

Cost of Breast Implant surgery Boca Raton
The cost of breast implant surgery varies widely, as my colleagues have mentioned, due to three primary factors:
- The type of implant
- The type of facility in which the surgery is performed
- The potential need for a lift along with the implantation.
Implants come in various types, ranging in price from the least expensive, which is saline, to the most expensive, which is the form-stable, AKA gummy bear implants, with the gel-filled (sometimes called “silicone implants) in the middle.
Remember, breast implants usually last for many years, so don’t choose saline if that’s not what you truly want. Both gel-filled and form-stable implants are closer to the feel of real breast tissue compared with saline implants. The type of facility affects the price also. Here in Boca Raton, our plastic surgery operating room is exclusive to us and attached to our office. Our prices for the operating room are much lower than that of a hospital operating room.
The cost can also vary by the type of anesthesiologist that is used. We use only board certified anesthesiologists, which does cost more but is the safest choice for our patients. Many patients are surprised to find that they would benefit from a breast lift along with implants. Drooping breasts cannot be remedied with an implant alone. If you have drooping breasts due to genetics, pregnancy, breastfeeding or aging, you may need a breast lift, which can add to the price but which will give patients with breast drooping (called ptosis) a much superior result.
When you call around to various plastic surgery offices, keep in mind that many won’t give prices over the telephone, which is in your favor. They aren’t being evasive; they are being truthful: it’s unfair to quote you a price for breast augmentation without an exam, as the practice has no idea which implant is most ideal for your needs, nor whether or not you also need a lift.
Also, some offices quote only the surgeon’s fees and not the entire cost for anesthesia and the operating room – another reason it’s wise to visit a local board certified plastic surgeon for a private breast augmentation consultation. At the end of your consultation, you’ll receive a quote in writing that details all expenses. From there you can choose the surgeon you trust the most and know exactly what you’re going to pay. How Much to Breast implant surgery cost
The cost of breast implant surgery rage widely from different areas of the country and even between cities in the same state. Of course, price is important, but not the most important. Remember you are paying for a doctor’s education, experience, and training. You are not purchasing a product off the shelf at a retail store. (Joseph W. Aguiar, MD, Tampa Plastic Surgeon)
