There are several fat pads under our eyes to cushion the eye. As we age these fat pads become more visible and may need to be removed. Fillers will not help this situation. Most likely you need to get these fat pads removed. You will need research a plastic surgeon in your area that specializes in lower blepharoplasty with removal of the fat to get and assessment.
Is it required to use lipo foams and ab/backboard?

Thank you for your question.  It is not necessary to use lipo foams or ab board post liposuction. Wearing the compression garment for 2 weeks will be fine.  I however ask my patients to wear it of a total of 6 weeks.  The first two weeks 24 hours and the additional 4 weeks only 12 hours a day.  Some of my patients feel more comfortable in the garment and even wear it longer.  It will not effect your results, but help keeps the swelling down.  Every surgeon has post op introductions you shou…

Thank you for sharing your pictures.  You are just 8 weeks out from surgery and it takes time to heal. In your pictures it looks like your implants are high and have not fully dropped into the pocket, This could take up to 6 months to be in the correct position. Make sure you call your board certified Plastic surgeon with any concerns you my have.  Best of luck to you.
9 weeks post with, burning tingling warm itching sensation. Is this normal?

Thank you for your question.  Yes it is normal to have the sensations you are having post surgery.  You have to remember that it takes time for your body to heal.  You are just 9 week post surgery. I tell my patients that the first 3 months about 60% of the swelling is gone and at 6 months all the swelling should be resolved, sometimes it does take longer.  Once all the swelling is gone the tingling, itching and burning should subside. Thank you for your question.  It is very common to have numbness after surgery.  It will take time to heal and the nerves to regenerate this could take up to 6 months or more.  Remember you are just 2 week post op.  If you have any concerns please call your surgeons office.
