Are those the permanent veneers? Or temporary? If they are permanent and have been cemented, go back to your dentist and voice your concerns. If these are temporary, make sure they know before making the permanent veneers that you don’t like these. They are bulkier than your natural teeth were, you aren’t wrong on that.

Without any photos or xrays, I can’t give you a definitive answer. Are you wanting to have veneers placed on the lower front teeth? First the health of the gum and bone needs to be determined. Make sure you see a dentist that has done many veneer cases as lower front teeth can be difficult to treat.

So long as you still have adequate tooth structure, you can have veneers replaced as many times as you want. The fewer times you actually drill on your teeth, the better. Every time the tooth is worked on, you run the risk of affecting the nerve or causing other problems. Make sure you choose a doctor that does the procedure frequently and knows what they’re doing.

But the abutments themselves shouldn’t need replacement after only 4 years.To replace the housings inside the denture is very easy and inexpensive. To replace the abutments is much more costly.
