As long as your regular dentist says that your composite fillings are intact, there should be no issue doing Invisalign.
What changes to make in temporaries so porcelain veneers will look more natural?

I agree with the first answer. I would round out the corners so they are not so sharp. I would also make the two front teeth slightly longer than the two side teeth. That will help your smile to have a more natural look.
Invisalign or traditional braces for my severe overbite/overjet?

It is a little hard to answer without more information. The photos do not show as much detail as I would need to give a proper opinion. Both options can work, but we need to know the reason for the space and severe overjet. Do you have a low anterior frenulum? This can cause the spacing you are asking about. Also, do you have a tongue thrust? This can lead to flaring of the teeth. These would be questions to ask at your consults.
Extreme pain after not wearing trays for 3 weeks. Should I just push through?

It would be best to see your provider as soon as possible. Bring all of your aligners and the doctor can check which aligners fits best. It is not advised to continue wearing an aligner that is causing extreme pain or discomfort. That could result in more complications.
