Is teeth extraction necessary before braces?
Braces with or without extractions
Dec 21, 2016
It is not possible to give you an answer because there is not enough information. If you can, please post some photos with your teeth together, lips retracted as well as a profile shot and profile shot with teeth together and cheeks retracted.

Veneers over crooked teeth at 22?
Veneers vs braces
Nov 11, 2016
From your photos and considering your young age, I would definitely recommend you to consider orthodontic treatment, not veneers or crowns. These days, metal braces are about obsolete, you can have tooth-colored braces, even the wires are white! I believe you will be very happy with the result and will have your natural teeth which have the potential to last you the rest of your life. Please seek consult with a good orthodontist. Good luck.

Grey gum after front tooth implant?
Tooth implant and grey gums
Nov 6, 2016
From the photos, it appears to me that the implant had been placed too far facially ( to the gums). You will need to have a cone beam CT done to verify the position of the implant. If the implant were placed with insufficient supporting bone and restored with an abutment/crown, it will fail. Recently, I had to retreat a patient from England who had a similar situation with the implant placed in England, I had to remove the implant, graft bone and place a new…
My veneers seem off, I believe they need to be rounded for more separation? I had six done
veneers

Recontouring the veneers will help some. From the photo, you will definitely need to consider 4 additional veneers. How long were you in temporaries for and did you have sufficient time to evaluate before finalizing? Dr Le
I have loose teeth after braces.
Loose teeth after braces
Nov 6, 2016
This is perfectly normal as your teeth were being moved into a more esthetic position with braces and the bone was remodeling. Typically, I would leave the last wire on for at least 2 months before removing the braces to allow time for the teeth to be more stable. On the day of lower braces removal, I would normally bond a fixed wire retainer onto the front 6 teeth instead of relying on a removable retainer that would require the patient’s long-term dedication. For upper…
I have been wearing dentures for 40 years, can I have implant retained dentures fitted?
Implant-supported dentures
Oct 31, 2016
If you are in good health and have sufficient bone volume, you are a good candidate for either implant-supported dentures, or “all-on-4” where a fixed bridge in each jaw is permanently supported by 4-6 implants. At times, if you do not have sufficient bone, you will still be able to get the implants after more bone is “added” to your jaw and/or your sinus spaces. You may need to consult a reputable oral surgeon, gum specialist, or a well-trained general dentist to get an opinion…
Are there any options for replacing a tooth extracted 4-5 years ago and has closed up consi
implant and ortho
Oct 28, 2016
Hello,

The space appears very small to fit a tooth. You may need to see an orthodontist first to have an analysis of your bite and be informed of pros and cons of having braces to close the gap vs moving the teeth behind the space to create enough space for another molar. Another factor that will come into play is the possibility of an sinus lift and/or ridge augmentation to have adequate bone to support the implant because, apparently, your teeth had shifted consideration in a…
