Great question! The answer to this will vary from patient to patient. You are correct in that some patients will feel fine within a couple days however you also have patients that will take longer to heal. Again everybody recovers differently. You don’t want to be taking pain medicine while driving or while work as this could potentially create bigger issues. I would recommend you taking more time off work. However this decision is between you and your surgeon.
