Smilecareclub aligners need clean teeth?
Accurate Impressions Start with Clean Teeth
Oct 30, 2015
I always recommend all my aligner patients have clean teeth before their scan or impressions so that they can have the best outcome. Plaque and debris can interfere with the impression set and result.Calculus can build up in your teeth in between your appointments if you don’t floss daily.Speak to your general dentist or dental hygienist about suggestions to improve your home care. There are many great products on the market to help your teeth and gums stay healthy so…
Am I getting duped on Clear Correct ‘limited ortho’? I’m 46. Had braces 4 yrs as a teen. Now front too
Clear Correct
Oct 14, 2015
Clear Correct does send their aligners in batches. If you are unsatisfied with your progress your dentist should be able to submit a revision at no additional charge.
What are the chances my doc will take the buttons off for the weekend so you don’t see them in picture
Shade Match
Oct 14, 2015
The aligner buttons shouldn’t be visable in your wedding photos if the composite shade was matched properly.
Blue band cement broke off. What should I do?
Call your dentist
Sep 22, 2015
I would call your dentist and ask for their suggestion. They may prefer you save the band if it is salvegable.
Invisalign or Damon Clear?
Both
Sep 15, 2015
Both would work. Damon clear will still have the same discomfort as traditional braces and food restrictions. If you feel you would be complaint and wear your aligners every day, Invisalign is an easy choice.
Smile Care Club and wisdom teeth?
Your General Dentist and your 3rd molars
Sep 14, 2015
I believe SmileCareClub Orthodontists will likely defer this question to your family dentist. In some situations it’s advantageous to have them removed. They would need to consult a panoramic x-ray to make a decision. I would schedule and exam and consultation with your local dentist and go from there!Best of luck with your new smile!
Am I a good Candidate for Smile Care Club?
Options for Aligners
Aug 25, 2015
SmileCareClub is for mild-moderate orthodontic cases who have Class 1 malocclusions and less than 6mm of crowding or spacing. If you aren’t sure, you can submit a risk-free/refundable smile assessment. Most likely, you’ll have a better outcome if you choose a product that incorporates attachments and rubber-bands. Invisalign and Clear-Correct or traditional braces would be great options for you.
