Great question ! It is likely that the attachments that snap on to the implants need adjusting. They either need new fittings or the denture may have to be realigned in addition. If it has been working for you and this just started to happen, it is hopefully not a major issue but you never know, so the earlier you have it assessed, the less costly to get it back into working order

Although it is quite rare to have an implant place without a tooth attached for so many years, it is always possible to get a crown on it. However before doing this you must have an x-ray and CT scan taken to make sure the bone has not shrunk away from the implant so that you’re not wasting time and money for a procedure that you may not be able to have success with.
