How much will it cost to get a full set of dental implants? I have already had all teeth remove
Dental Implants NYC
Apr 21, 2015
It all depends on what your final result will be. Lets say you are planning to do something called a fixed bridge on implants it might take 5-8 implants on the bottom and 6-8 implants on the top. If the plan was to do an over denture ( basically having a denture that clicks into the implants) than you can consider having less implants placed. Implant placement might determine if you need any extra procedures done to make you a candidate. Some one might need implants on the upper right and…
My Cry For Help! – Hello, I am a 17 year old male in desperate need of a new mouth!
Smile Makeover
Feb 22, 2015
The fact is that your situation is very common. We live in a superficial world that judges the book by its cover. Unfortunately, the world misses out on so many amazing and talented people. Fortunately we live in a time that there are so many different ways to make amazing changes to a smile that can bring out the inner beauty of a person. If finances is a major concern of yours you may consider getting your dental treatment in a dental university. Good luck with your endeavor…
When I smile it causes an upward curved horizontal line/wrinkle between my nose and upper lip.
Dentures, Overdentures, Implant Bridges or botox
Feb 22, 2015
Unfortunately after someone loses their teeth the bone starts to resorb, meaning you start losing size of bone. Unless you replace the missing teeth with implants there isn’t really much you can do to stop the progression of the bone loss. As we age our skin loses the collagen and volume thus creating the creases in our face. Dentures do not hold the bone from resorbing so you will have to either relign the denture or replace them. There is a new wave of dentures called…
What procedure would work best to close my gap Veneers or Bonding?
Closing your space between teeth
Oct 9, 2014
You did the right thing by going through orthodontics as a way to close off your space. Orthodontics is still the best route to take to close the gap and fix your occlusion. IF you just want to focus on the two front teeth, by either apply bonding or veneers, the front two teeth will appear wide and out of proportion. If you don’t want to reconsider braces than your cosmetic dentist needs to work up your case and see if there needs to be more than two teeth involved with either veneers or…
My teeth keep chipping and breaking. What would you recommend?
Solution to breaking and chipping teeth
Oct 8, 2014
First we need to understand why your teeth are breaking and chipping. It can be due to cavities, it could be due to your occlusion, it could be due to parafunctional habits such as bruxism. With out a proper clinical exam it’s all up in the air. Visit a dentist who understands occlusion and can evaluate you properly.
Do I need a veneer? What other options do I have?
Cracked tooth
Oct 6, 2014
First question is how did you get that crack. If it’s due to your occlusion/bite than you would want to get that evaluated prior to placing any type of restoration. If the tooth is asymptomatic and doesn’t need a root canal, than you would consider either bonding or veneers for a more conservative approach. To restore one front tooth is very difficult but could be done if you have the proper doctor with the right lab technician.

Do I need a lengthening ? Thanks!
Crown Lengthening
Oct 6, 2014
Crown lengthening is needed when the tooth preperation or decay has gone to the crest of the bone, thus invading the biological width. Despite having difficulty placing a crown in this situation, if a dentist is still able to place a crown on an area that is invading the bilogical width it can cause the area to be constantly inflammed/ irritated. I recommend that if you are in need of crown lenthening than you do it prior to placing of the crown.

Good Luck,

Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein
