I’m 60-upper 12 teeth gone and gums as well. Will implants be effective in my case?
implants
Sep 27, 2016
Hi,

Yes would be effective Probably you need bone block grafts to add thickness of your jaw bone and bilateral sinus grafts to add the height to your jaw bone prior dental implants, after several dental implants .Approximately to complete all that at least 1.5 year

With dental implants comprehensive exam and several xrays and CT scan / 3D xray needed to answer your specific questions.

Hope that help, Good luck.

How long can I wait to get implants exposed?
wait
Sep 27, 2016
Hi,

Ideally we wait 4 months in lower jaw where its strong bone, 4-6 months in upper jaw–softer bone.

If you want to wait longer than that its your call, however when we usually start we like to finish vs waiting 2 years to complete implant/abutment/crown.

Hope that helps

Can I wear partial denture for a year before implants?
Hi
Sep 27, 2016
The best time to start implant procedure is in 6 months to a year after extraction, if you stay with the partial for a year its fine, however don’t stay too long like 3-5 years due to your jaw bone will recede and will shrink in the width becoming thin and will complicate the future procedure.

Good luck with your pregnancy

Hi,

You are right, you have gaps between your upper teeth, however you have slight anterior crossbite on your right lower canine: it means lower tooth/right canine is overlapping upper tooth right canine. There is a chance you have posterior crossbite on the right but picture won’t allow to see it.

For that reason anterior crossbite, possible posterior crossbite —-you have to get the braces, invisalign won’t be to efficient

Hi there,Every time we do braces invisalign average treatment length takes at least take 1-1.5/2 years year, usually 2 years. The reason for that is we want to stabilize the teeth in new position so later on we have less chances for relapse. Relapse means teeth wants to get into their old position, we prevent that with retainer wear after completion of braces, also by slowing the process and fixing the teeth in a new position and keeping on rectrangular…

Why would non-vital tooth hurt a lot during tooth extraction?
broken tooth #19
Sep 12, 2016
Hi,Any time teeth are endo treated (had root canal) and need extraction, they can be very hard to removed , due to they so dry and fragile they to break in the pieces during procedure of extraction, so your dentist might need to dig in deep in your gum/roots to remove all those pieces, that’s what called surgical extraction might need sutures and stuff like that.Your question is that normal to have a pain, that depends, you mentioned your had an several abscesses in the past,…
