Shifting/tilting of neighboring teeth and supra-eruption of the opposing teeth may occur. You may have difficulty eating/chewing as a result. It takes a long time (years) for the shifting to occur. You should be fine with having the implants placed in 1-2 years if you decided to wait a bit. Hope this helps!
