When All Teeth Need Replacement

Gagging with dentures sometimes result from the design required to ensure a snug fit with good retention.Implants will definitely open your options to tooth replacement options that will not trigger your gagging. Denture alternatives that should be suitable for you include:- implant overdentures (snap-on dentures)- “All-on-4” fixed zirconia or acrylic arch that is fixed in place, look and chew like natural teeth, and don’t require daily removal for maintenance. Depending on the shape of yo…
What would you suggest for my teeth? Invisalign and veneers, or just invisalign?
Treatment Goals

Given that your concerns are primarily based on appearance, it is important to ask yourself how you would want to see your smile improve. These details will have a great influence on how your treatment will need to be planned out to give you the best, long-lasting results.Doing braces prior to having veneers is actually a very reasonable approach, since it might completely solve your concerns without even needing veneers. Braces can also help position your teeth so that less of your teeth…
How Much Do Dental Implants Cost?
Spectrum of Options

Assuming that you’re trying to decide between dentures and implants that would replace all teeth, there are solutions available that require as few as 2 dental implants to simply help stabilize 10-12 teeth (snap-on overdentures) or as many as 4-6 (All-on-4 or implant bridges for missing segments of teeth). There are a few questions that need to be answered prior to determining the cost and value of a treatment, since the number of implants needed would vary depending on what you want to …
Hi, Can the two front teeth be filed down to the same length?
Esthetic recontouring?

I’m glad that you reported a positive experience with Invisalign, as it is a relatively limited system. Since I can’t see a full photo of your front 6 teeth, I can’t give you a 100% complete opinion regarding evening out your teeth. Assuming that they’re in a reasonable position and have a good size ratio, it is possible to lightly file down the teeth to match. However, what I do notice is that one of your teeth exhibit more wear than the other, which could be why they look uneven; if this…
I am getting a partial on the bottom front. Will it fit because I have gum loss?
The answer is in the teeth, not just the gums!

Given the amount of gingival (gum) recession you exhibit, my bigger concern for you would be whether or not the teeth that will anchor your future denture are stable enough. The shape of the anchor teeth will also dictate how easily seated the denture will be; the uneven nature of your gums post-extraction may be compensated for with the denture teeth and denture base.
Can A Front Dental Implant Ruin The Teeth Around It?
See the providing dentist surgeon (periodontist or oral surgeon) ASAP!

Dental implants are great when they’re properly placed, osseointegrated, and restored. Unfortunately, implants are just like any other dental restoration in that they may fail.In your case, it sounds like you should seek care ASAP. If the implant, implant restoration, or restored tooth have somehow become infected or otherwise traumatized, there is a chance that significant bone loss is occurring, leading to drainage of pus, bleeding, pain, and also gingival (gum) recession. In that case,…
Can I get a bonding again on my tooth, after my front tooth broke?
A picture can only say so much, but here’s what I see…

From your second photo, I can see obvious signs of decay, which is a possible reason for why the original filling came off. Depending on what your dentist sees in your mouth and your xrays, the extent of the decay, and how much of your tooth remains, your dentist may be able to give you a new filling or suggest that you get a crown restoration. Please do not wait until your tooth hurts! Good luck!
