Swelling is common after lip injections and will decrease over 1-2 weeks. If it does not improve over this time you may have the filler dissolved. There is a good chance you will love your lips again after the swelling resolves.

Ways to avoid swelling and reduce bruising

Lips are delicate areas that tend to swell after injections. Overall, expect 1-2 weeks of swelling and the possibility of bruising after any injection. Having said that, there are ways to minimize swelling including, not overfilling, icing, and using cannulas for injections vs. sharp needles. In my experience, 3 hours is enough time between injections and enjoying a nice dinner with friends.

Shallow Vein Removal

These look like very shallow small veins. There are a number of lasers which can remove these including pulsed dye lasers (Vbeam) or long pulse Nd-Yag lasers. I recommend you see a specialist familiar with laser vein removal for treatment.

It will take a combination of several treatments to offer you the best
results for acne scar improvement. You
would do well with fractionated CO2 laser resurfacing, subcision of the deepest
scars, and dermal fillers to smooth the skin. Also, a pulsed dye laser
treatment is great for removing the redness.
The good news is you can expect the acne scars to improve over time with
your Accutane treatment, and I recommend you wait at least 6 months after
