Some “red moles” like the one you have pictured are absolutely healthy and some “red moles” can be very dangerous.
What you have pictured clinically appears as a cherry angioma which is a benign vascular growth. These can easily be treated in clinic. Insurance does not pay for the treatment of these lesions because they are benign.
