This older gentleman presented to our practice with the desire to improve his smile after admitting he had neglected his teeth for many years due to a fear of the dentist. Careful diagnosis revealed severe periodontal gum disease, and many treatment options were presented to him to restore his mouth to optimal health in a comfortable manner that addressed his dental phobia.
