Can I go back to work right after having a subcision for rolling acne scars?

It depends on whether your subcision procedure is fairly mild or more intense, but in general the bruising from it lasts only a few days. Getting it done friday and expecting to look 100% normal on monday is possible, but if you have significant scarring they may still be some light bruising remaining. I don’t think it would be enough to prevent you from going to work, however.

It really depends on the type of scars you have, which requires a consultation or at least some pictures on here. In general TCA Cross, Subcision, and laser treatments are all permanent without significant downtime (less than a week). TCA and lasers generally have redness/peeling for a few days after, while subcision has bruising for a few days. For your scars I think some combination of subcision, TCA Cross, and CO2 laser treatments would provide you with the most improvement. Subcision would be good for the rolling texture you have while TCA and CO2 would help smooth the surface of your skin. Good luck!

It looks like TCA Cross and CO2 Laser would work well to get rid of those scars for you. I can’t really tell how much (if any) rolling scars you have but subcision could help with those, if they are there. An in person consultation would help you out immensely I think. Good luck!

It looks like you still might have some acne so a peel would probably be the best approach as this would help with your scars as well as the acne you still currently have. I’d recommend starting with TCA Cross and once your acne is gone you and your dermatologist can start talking about other treatments, if necessary.
