Thank you for your question and photos. I think that it is certainly possible to preserve the front of your
prepuce int he hands of an experienced labiaplasty surgeon. I agree with your desire to conduct a search. Discuss this issue with several surgeons and ask how they would preserve your sensation to these areas. One can set back the prepuce with superficial skin incisions and leave the top alone.

Again, check with several surgeons in your area to discuss further.

I know how hard flight attendants work and especially those who fly on long hauls.
I would recommend that you take at least 6 weeks off to fully recover. This is with a caveat that there are no wound healing problems at all at that time. By this , I mean that your wounds are fully closed , that there are no signs of infection and that you are able to resume full activities without pain.
Of course, it is extremely important that you get permission from your plastic surgeon...

So sorry to hear about your accident! I hope you are doing better.
If you have saline implants, it will be evident if you have a rupture because the implant will deflate and in most cases, this is evident to the patient.
With gel implants and if you are anxious re a breast implant rupture, the best tests to determine damage to the implants are either a high density ultrasound or an MRI that is specifically designed to detect a leak.

Typically, a trim techniques is a better way to reduce or eliminate the dark area at the end of the labia.
With a wedge, the surgeon is removing more tissue from below the very ends of the labia.
With the trim techniques, the surgeon is removing the dark area at the very ends of the labia.
Discuss these issues with your surgeon so that she/he understand what are your main goals with the
surgery.

Like any with t any surgical procedure, there is always a risk of some nerve damage.
Potential causes include a lack of knowledge on the surgeon's part about where the nerves are.
There are other nerves to the clitoris that can be damaged as well as the dorsal nerve.
Also, there are the clitoral frenulae that extend past the clitoris as 2 small appendages.
If these are cut or damaged , a loss of sensation to the clitoris can be experienced as well.

There should be no problem whatsoever with you having the lipolysis injection under your chin and the CO2 laser therapy on your nasolabial folds the day after your labiaplasty. The two operative sites are completely different and both will be done under a local anesthetic so there should be no cumulative effect of the anesthetic and no extra stress placed on any surgical site.

It is very difficult to answer your question without photos. If you have a lot of tissue , none of the
non surgical methods listed above will help to a significant degree. If there is a small amount of excess tissue , we have found the DIVA to be helpful.
If you have a large amount of labia minora tissue, it is unlikely to have further loss of sensation in this area with a straightforward trim labiaplasty in experienced hands.
Again, pictures would be of enormous help...

It looks as though you may have a little cyst at the bottom of one of the clitoral frenulum. I would suggest that you return to visit with your surgeon for an in person exam. I would be very careful of someone wishes to cut this out as the frenulum can be a source of sexual pleasure. Please visit with a surgeon who does many labiaplasties to get an expert opinion.

If the separation happened 1 to 2 days following the surgery, one might be able to use Dermabond or another type of tissue glue to hold the separated skin together. This may not be adequate , however, and may not work long term.
It is best to consult with your surgeon to see what can be done and if there is a deformity present.

Yes, you can have a labiaplasty without the clitoral hood reduction. Be aware however, that the clitoral hood will appear more prominent when the enlarged labia are reduced in size. Typically, most surgeons do not charge a lot more to reduce the clitoral hood along with the labiaplasty. Perhaps it might not be bad idea to get another opinion?

I don't see any problem at all with you having a mastopexy and a labiaplasty at the same time.
Depending on your doctor's practice, you can probably do the labiaplasty in his/her office and have the mastopexy performed in the operating room. There should not be a problem with any waiting period between the 2 procedures as well.

I don't think that it makes too much difference as to the timing of the 2 procedures. If you were having
both procedures under general anesthesia, it is generally recommended that you wait 6 weeks apart. Since the revision labiaplasty will be done under local anesthesia, the timing is not such of great importance.
It is important , however, that you receive antibiotics for your breast augmentation revision at any point in your surgery as the BAM will involve placing a foreign body...

I think that if you have an experienced labiaplasty surgeon, sensory nerve loss can be avoided.
You have a good amount of tissue around the clitoral area and if your surgeon understands the anatomy, the nerves to the clitoris and the frenulae should be preserved.

As with all surgeries and medical care in general, you need to search for an experienced surgeon, read the reviews and visit with a few so that you can make an informed decision.
