Do you like my smile makeover? Because I hate it! They are too short, wrong color, weird angles. Not hap
It is not risky to redo crowns and veneers.

Did you like your temporaries? It is always best to make changes in the temporaries and then have the laboratory make the permanent ones match the size, shape and color. Then you need to approve all of those things at the try-in before they are bonded into place
Why is my gum line dark, even though I have a zirconium crown?
Zirconia is just a white metal.
Jun 2, 2014
Zirconia crowns are no more translucent than other porcelain fused to metal crowns. All these types of crowns stop any light from getting into your tooth and showing down the root. Since the tooth was already dark, this just makes it look darker. It is possible to help make the root of a dark tooth look lighter and place an all porcelain crown like E-max. It is not real easy, but is possible.Good Luck
Is there a way for the dentist to file down my two front teeth to be the same length as the rest of my t
Possible, but not necessarily advisable.
Jun 2, 2014
Your two front teeth and your canine, or cuspids, the teeth on the corner of your smile, are about the same length. You have some very short lateral incisors, the teeth in between. I would much rather see you lengthen those two teeth, than shorten the others. This could be done with either porcelain or composite veneers. Maybe even a combination of a little cosmetic reshaping of the long teeth along with the two veneers would help.Good Luck
What are the long term effects of rough edges on crown margins?
The long term effects will not be good.

Any situation like this causes an area for bacteria to hide in. One of two things will ultimately happen in this area. The bacteria will either cause an inflammation that will cause some bone loss or the bacteria will be able to start a cavity. These things will not necessarily happen immediately, but over the long term one of these things will surely happen. Is there any possibility of your Dentist trimming away the excess crown and/or cement? If it is in between…
I had a dental implant 5 months ago. How long do I have before adjacent teeth shift enough to cause crow
Everyone is different. It may have already started.
Jun 2, 2014
You are approaching a time when changes will certainly begin to take place if something is not done. If significant movement of the adjacent teeth has not occurred yet, you can do something about it. I would suggest finding a Dentist who would be willing to check the situation. If the adjacent teeth have not move significantly, have them make a removable retainer or night guard that you can wear every night. It will help keep the adjacent teeth from moving into that…
I decided to have dental bonding. Should I have it done after getting a mouthguard?
Bonding first
May 10, 2014
You need to do the bonding first or your guard will not fit if you do the bonding after the guard. The picture you shared is of an underbite and is not what I consider normal, or right. If you have the bonding done and don’t do anything about your bite it will probably chip and break before you want it to. The guard will help at night, but what about while you are trying to chew?
New crown for a dental implant?
Yes, it can be done

Can you provide a picture so we know which part of the tooth is the short part. I suppose the worst case scenario would be the necessity to replace both the abutment and the crown. For an esthetic implant supported crown, I would expect to pay at least $1,500.00 and maybe $2,000.00 for an abutment and crown.
