Hi,Thank you for your question. When implant is placed under the muscle it gains more cover of the upper pole. This approach is particularly useful in thin patients to achieve more natural result. The recovery may be slightly longer and a bit more painful but the result is for life, therefore i do recommend to most of my patients retropectoral position of the implant. Hi,Thank you for your question. Breast pain is a very frequent symptom and it can be caused by nerve or muscle inflammation in most of cases. It is very rare that a breast pain is caused by breast reduction procedure which took place such a long time ago.If there is no other symptoms such as redness or swelling I would suggest to give it a bit of time.
