Not sure I understand the question, or why #8 is being removed, why there is not lingual enamel, or why you would remove #24. I assume the lower teeth are very crowded, and their position contributed to the damage on 8/9. Acid is also a concern. I would try to save the teeth, and maybe do some orthodontics to better position them.
