Can I Get Two More Implants? I Already Have One.
More Implants

Sorry to hear quack dentistry got you. But, thank goodness, with today’s technology we can correct and repair most issues. From what I can gather you probably can go with single crowns[ one implant per tooth ] or an implant bridge. In order to make the correct decision, we would need to see a 3D cone beam x-ray so we are able to see the volume that is present. More bone, more implants. Also, the volume of gum tissue is critical when making esthetic decisions. If…
Why don’t my implants lock into place? They have changed the housing 4 times..
Implant Issues

To be perfectly honest, more information is necessary. But, I’ll give it a shot. Seems as if you have a removable appliance with four housings[female part]. Each housing should have a rubber or synthetic “o” ring inside. They are mostly white or black. They all wear and loose their effectiveness over time. If the path of the four implants are lined up well, pretty parallel, the inserts last longer. If they are not, they wear out quickly and retention is lost….
Can You Tell Me a Bit a Bout Hypodontia?
Missing Teeth

Impacted eye teeth is very common, as is missing or under developed laterals…especially in females. What I advise is for the orthodontist to leave the space for the laterals and then place implants. If the ortho moves the canines into the lateral position, you then are creating a cosmetic issue and possibly a functional one as well . Best of luck, Martin Gorman,DDS
How often do I need to re-cement?
RE-cementing

When a dental restoration fits correctly and accurately re-cementing should not be an issue pretty much ever. Most of my restorations never come out and we give a 5 year warranty against failure. If crowns falling out is an issue the dentist should remake or maybe it’s time fro a change. Martin Gorman,DDS
What treatment will I need to fix teeth? One pushed back and other forward.
Unhappy Smile

In my opinion, from the photo, Invisalign would be the ideal treatment. Actually, I’m wearing my invisa trays right now. That front tooth appears so out of position that any cosmetic done prior to getting good alignment would be a total esthetic failure. Best of luck, Martin Gorman,DDS
What could happen if I do not have dental gum grafting performed?
Graft Me or Graft Me Not

Grafting is a great periodontal procedure. Hard to tell what your needs are without a photo. But, if the condition is serious, you could lose or in the least cause a serious infection. Good luck, Martin Gorman,DDS
How long do I need to wait to renew veneers that went wrong twice?
Moving Veneers
Jan 29, 2014
Jan 29, 2014
Usually when teeth shift that have been veneered there is something wrong with the new form of the teeth. It is very important to not only check the bite in the up/down movement but, also in the left/right and forward moves. Sadly, most dentist do not check the “active” moves resulting in broken, chipped teeth or movement of teeth. Color issue is that it is difficult to match veneer material from different batch or from different companies. HOPE THIS HELPS. Martin Gorman, DDS
