It seems as there is part of the result the surgeon is not happy with and he’s using the filler to camouflage that aspect in hopes it will fix it. This is never a long term fix and the issue presents itself again 6-8 months later. The only filler that may help right after surgery is radiesse as it is calcium based and has a better chance of staying.

We commonly do those together and the downtime is very minimal. You just want to make sure your doctor has significant experience with those procedures. In our office we perform those procedures almost every day. Most patients would be recovered enough to go back to work from the eyes and fat transfer within days. First thank you for question. textured implants with fluid around them are associated with BIALCL and as such need to be ruled out. Once everything is clear then yes Rippling is significantly more common with saline then with silicone and even worse when above the muscle. So my recommendation would be to either stay with silicone or place saline below the muscle. Rippling with saline above will get worse as time goes by so one of the other options is preferred. It is possible to perform a lift over current implants leaving them in place as I have performed this many times. But given how old yours are it may be best to switch them out for new ones as yours likely have ruptured or have leaked. Most plastic surgeons would do this procedure under anesthesia not just local. It can be done under local but it does cause much more anxiety to the patient which then leads to a higher risk for the patients blood pressure to go up and then to have a higher risk for bleeding. So be a little careful on who is performing your procedure. Most of the time when the procedure is performed under local it is either the doctor can not perform it under anesthesia or their only trying to save on cost....
