If abutment screw is loose in dental implant, will it show up in the X-ray?
Abutment screw loose
Oct 9, 2017
If this is the case then something should show up. Unfortunately, there is always the possibility of everything looking normal on the x-ray. If the screw is easily accessible, then it can be accessed and checked for tightening as needed without too much fuss.
Would bonding be a better decision or should I just go with ortho?
No to bonding
Aug 22, 2017
I would advise against bonding alone in this situation. The bonding would be excessive given the amount of spacing that is present. It also seems as though there is spacing on the lowers as well. You would be better served long term to have ortho completed on both the uppers and the lowers in order to close spaces. You could always do some bonding after ortho if you would like to change the shape of the teeth.
On the other hand, you could do porcelain veneers in this…

Post op discomfort
Aug 17, 2017
If you had any type of grafting completed at time of placement, swelling can persist for several days and in some instances up to 10 days. Often times, it feels like a knot or “marble”. I routinely see my patients for a 2 week post-op to remove any sutures, check for healing and make sure the patient is doing well.
If you do not have post op scheduled, then feel free to make an appointment at this time to have the doctor check it out and make sure that the healing is going as…

What were your expectations
Aug 17, 2017
From what I can see in the photos, these emax crowns look good. What don’t you like about them? In my opinion, they are much better than where you started. However, it is not uncommon for some patients to feel like they aren’t themselves because they look different then what they are used to seeing.
Often times, as much as a physical change that happens, it is the mental change the we have to deal with. Unless there is something more that I am missing, this seems to be a…
Am I a good candidate for veneers?
Veneers can make an improvement
Aug 15, 2017
Veneers can definitely make an improvement here. Most likely you would need at 10 veneers which would allow for longer, straighter teeth and a wider smile.
I also think you could pick a shade that was much brighter which could help to overcome the shadow that the lip provides on your teeth currently.

Porcelain veneers. Do these look straight?
Looking for perfection?
Aug 15, 2017
Overall they look okay. Your right canine throws off the eye as it needs to be tucked in more. Having said that, it is difficult to say how much more it could be tucked in without any before photos.
It also looks like the lateral teeth are not the same size. Your right side lateral is more prominent that your left.
If you look at the photo that you uploaded, the line angles of the centrals do not match. Line angles are the reflective surfaces of the…
If you only have $10,000 and no teeth, what is best option for replacement?
Fountain of Youth Denture
Aug 11, 2016
With $10,000, you should be able to find a solution which may or may not involve implants. In my opinion, you have to be selective on the office that you choose…not all dentures are created equal and not all dentists do dentures well. A well fitting denture will limit the instability that you have, support your face, lips and muscles as well as be able to function. I have no idea how much bone loss you have, but if it is significant, you may be able to have some mini…
