He also has expertise in and facial plastic surgery, including facelifts, eyelid lifts (blepharoplasty), and rhinoplasty.

“There is a big overlap between aesthetic and reconstructive surgery,” he says. “There is often a functional benefit from most of the aesthetic procedures that I carry out.” One of the most rewarding aspects of this work is how his surgery makes his patients feel better about themselves. In many cases, the results can be life-changing.

Dr. Jallali obtained his medical degree with honors from Bristol University, followed by advanced training at distinguished hospitals and clinics in the UK, Australia, and Los Angeles. I dislike my wide nostrils, but like side profile. Would rhinoplasty be extreme in my case and just use filler for the nostrils?
Feb 19, 2020
Thank you for your question. I think you will benefit from a tip rhinoplasty and I would also discuss alar base reduction with your surgeon. I do not think that fillers would be helpful with the changes that you are seeking.

Is a tummy tuck necessary?
Feb 6, 2020
Thank you for your question. This is a common dilemma and depends on what you are hoping to improve. Liposuction will reduce the fat but not tighten the skin so much. Tummy tuck will address loose skin and fat and repair the muscles if you are post pregnancy. Tummy tuck will give a bigger effect but with more down time.

What do you think is going on here and what are my options to correct this poor breast reconstruction?
Jan 27, 2020
Thank you for your question and photos. I always recommend my patients to have autologous i.e. their own tissue for breast reconstruction as this gives a better result and is permanent. You may be a candidate for TUG/TMG flaps which are tissue transferred from your thigh. You need to see a breast microsurgeon to assess you.

Is the downtime 2-3 weeks if you were to have a tummy tuck without muscle repair?
Jan 21, 2020
Thank you for your question. In general most of my patients return to work 2 weeks after an abdominoplasty and muscle repair. I would strongly recommend a muscle repair as you have had children and hence will have divarication of the muscles. You will need to wear a garment for 6 weeks in total but should be able to return to work after 2 weeks.

Is a breast augmentation the most appropriate surgery for me to achieve what I want?
Jan 15, 2020
Thank you for your photos and question. I think an uplift will get you close to the desired breast shape that you have attached. You are correct to be concerned about the risk of scarring and this risk is more related to your skin rather than the surgeon. A qualified PS will be able to explains the risks to you further.

How to achieve a slight dorsal augmentation if I don't want to have implants or rib?
Jan 12, 2020
Thank you for your question. The options are fillers which are not permanent vs your own tissue grafts which are 'permanent and include sites such as the septal cartilage (nose), ear cartilage or calvarial (skull) bone graft. You can try the filler as a test to see if you like the look achieved. Best of luck.

What’s the deal with my asymmetrical and oddly shaped breasts? Are they tuberous? What can be done for correction?
Jan 12, 2020
Thank you for your photos. You have mild tuberous breast deformity (TBD) and there are a number of options to correct it as well as your asymmetry. I would see a PS who specialises in TBD as I have seen a lot of issues from inexperienced surgeons.
