Acne Scars of the Face
Nov 23, 2017
You really should see a board certified dermatologists, as we daily treat the rash you have showed in your pictures. Your not alone and we are here to cure your condition, you don’t have to live with that. You will need a formal evaluation for medical prescriptions to treat your condition. Cosmetically, it will all get better with topical treatments, and if it still needs more, there is always peels, micro needling or lasers to enhance the results even further. &…

Back Acne Scars
Nov 23, 2017
There are over 5 types of back acne scars, so I recommend getting a formal evaluation by a skin expert, such as a board certified dermatologist. Dark acne scars can be improved with a combination of lightening creams (prescription hydroquinone, retinoids, and topical steroids), microneedling/prp, peels, and skin care. Our favorite at Dermatology Institute in San Diego are superficial peels. Patients usually come in every 2-4 weeks and we do a quick painless peel. This…
Are these holes removable without even bigger scars?
HOLES ON LIPS
Mar 30, 2017
It is difficult to say exactly how many treatments it will take to remove those holes. Usually, it takes 3-5 sessions of CROSS TCA and erbium laser to improve those spots. It is a small area, so it is very affordable, but you will need multiple sessions and there is no way to guarantee complete clearance until we see how you heal and how you respond to the first treatment. Good luck!
Botox: Too much? Or am I sensitive?
Too much Botox?
Mar 30, 2017
Your description of a heavy eyebrow or the forehead not moving, is suggestive of possibly too much botox in the forehead (which means you use your forehead to lift your eyebrows) and/or movement of botox from the eyebrow area into the lower forehead. If it is your first time, this doesn’t mean this will always happen to you, it just means you will need a different injection amount and technique the next time. In order to begin to feel better, I recommend you massage upward…
What is the best treatment/laser for acne scars?
Best treatment for acne scars
Mar 10, 2017
Unfortunately, there is not one laser or treatment that can remove all acne scars. Each type of scar needs multiple sessions of multiple modalities. It is recommended you have multiple sessions of CROSS TCA, fractional ablative resurfacing laser (CO2 or erbium), microneedling +/- PRP, fillers (Silikon or Bellafil), and/or subcission. I recommend you get a personalized regimen during a consult with an expert in acne scars (Board Certified Dermatologists) and then go from…
Can I get a lip wax two hours prior to Juvederm lip injections?
waxing before lip injections
Mar 10, 2017
There should be no problem waxing before lip injections with fillers. Just make sure you inform the provider injecting your lips. Take care.
Do I really need 60 units of botox & 7 syringes of filler age 32? I want to fix sunken eyes, tear t
how much botox and fillers
Feb 20, 2017
Your question is really good. It really depends on your goal and who is injecting you. Most of the before and after pictures you see of people are with about 60 units of botox and 7 syringes for fillers. It is possible with an expert injector, to inject in multiple areas with 2-3 syringes, but the expectation will need to be clear. For example, some tear troughs need 1-2 syringes, while others we only use half a syringe for mild improvement. Lips, at your young…
