Porcelain veneers can be used when you have a tooth that is not a canine, but is in the canine position. Changing the shape to make it look like a canine is easy and very commonly done with veneers. It’s important to achieve the right bite, ” canine guidance” is very important.

As a cosmetic dentist, I would highly recommend Invisalgn or braces to fix that canine. You can revisit the idea of veneers later, but both options above give you a great foundation.

You have a few options.
1 A professional dentist can whiten your teeth from behind
2 whitening strips can remove lighter stains from the front part of the porcelain veneers.
3 We have a special paste that we use to brighten up veneers and give them back their shine, that’s usually done at a prophylaxis appointment.

If you only want the front teeth more narrow, you should consider 4 veneers.
Make the central less wide and widen the laterals a bit. You will be very happy.

Since I have done over 10.000 veneers, here is my take.
It depends on the preparation. If the tooth is prepared more, a stronger substructure (emax) is better.
If the tooth is prepped in the 0.8 mm range, feldsphatic porcalain veneers look better. BUT in any case, the lab technician must be awesome.
