Hi Calm292601
Your left breast was a little fuller (and your left infra-mammary folder a little higher) before your surgery, but this is probably only noticeable to you now following augmentation surgery.
Your implants may settle a little more – how long since surgery?
I would suggest having a chat with your surgeon to see what they advise.

Hi MeliGSings
There are several surgical techniques for breast uplift / reduction and a free nipple graft is not always required. Without a full consultation and face-to-face examination it would be difficult to advise further, although looking at your photography I don’t consider a free nipple graft would be the only option for you
I would suggest that you make an appointment to see a different plastic surgeon to ask their advice and opinion. It is important to decide what your desired…

Post-Op Recovery

Hi MGarcia0504
Pain, swelling and discomfort post-op can all be part of the normal recovery process. The 6 weeks for a compression garment is usually only a guide – some of my patients find it more comfortable to wear for a longer time.
Have you had a face-to-face post-op checkup with your surgeon? I would suggest that you contact their office to ask for a checkup and examination to make sure that your recovery is going well.

I had spinal surgery 18 months ago. Can I have a tummy tuck next year?
Discuss with your Surgeon

Hello,
You should be OK to have a tummy tuck next year, but you will need to discuss in detail with your plastic surgeon and spinal surgeon. They may know each other or work in the same hospital, but I would ask for a letter from your spinal surgeon saying that they are happy for you to proceed, and any precautions that should be taken such as limitations on bending of your lower back.

Hello Laura,
Everybody recovers differently and at different rates, but most of my patients report they are back to almost normal activity within a week to ten days.
I generally advise that everything should be back to “normal” in 6-8 weeks.

Why is an embolism more likely to happen with a Tummy Tuck?
Blood Clots After Surgery

Hello,
Blood clots (DVT and PE) can occur after any surgery or period where you are not as mobile. A tummy tuck is a bigger operation with a longer recovery period than a breast augmentation so the risk is statistically higher. It can also depend on your own general health and body weight etc.
If you are a worried, have a chat with your surgeon about their DVT/PE risk prevention policy – they should have one.
Good luck.

Will I be able to take care of myself after a tummy tuck?
Recovery After Tummy Tuck

Hello,
I personally think that you would find it difficult being on your own in a foreign country after a tummy tuck operation. It’s a big operation and complications do occur, even with the the best surgeons and hospital facilities.
Once back in the UK, if you have problems, you may have to seek out a local surgeon at additional cost if anything goes wrong.
It would be best to clarify with your surgeon what aftercare package they and the hospital are able to provide to suit your situation.
