Braces for spacing and slight overbite?
Braces
Dec 21, 2016
Hello,

Without diagnostic x-rays and photos, I can not give you an exact diagnosis and treatment plan.

Based on the photos you have provided, it looks like you’ll be in braces for about 9-12 to close your spaces.

If your were to use an acceledent it would expedite your treatment by 30-50%.

Best of luck!

I’m wondering if braces or jaw surgery would result in better facial balance than rhinoplasty with

Is there any way to fix my asymmetric teeth and jaw?
It can be fixed
Dec 16, 2016
Hello,

With out x-rays and more photos, it is very difficult to give you an exact answer to your question.

Braces move teeth, not the jaw, there for in order for your jaw asymmetry to be corrected you would need to get Orthognathic Surgery (jaw surgery. Usually braces are put on prior to the surgery to get the teeth in the proper position for the surgery.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Good news! Yes, another orthodontist can take your braces off and start new treatment on you.

People move or come up on hard times often, so orthodontists are aware of this and willing to help.

Best of luck!
