Rhinoplasty is one of the most aggressive surgeries performed and it takes 6-12 months for full recovery. During this period, the nose looks swollen and sometimes the swelling is asymmetrical making one side of the nose looking a bit different than the other side.

Dear Mrs Al-Beyrouthy,
Your face shouldn’t get disfigured if you get your nasolabial folds injected with hyaluronic acid fillers by a certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist.
Gaining weight might make your nasolabial folds look better; however moderate to severe weight loss (generally more than 6 kgs) can make your nasolabial folds look worse. Mild weight loss (2 kgs in your case) shouldn’t affect the nasolabial fold filler injection in a negative way.

Dear Tarazandik,
Lip swelling is a normal process after fillers and Hyaluronidase injections and the swelling sometimes take up to 2 weeks to resolve.
In your specific case and based on the described history and posted pictures, I would advise you to dissolve the hyaluronic acid fillers in the entire upper lip, then give it up to 2 weeks of rest before re-injecting your upper lip.
