For her advanced surgical education, she did a two-year fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, as well as a plastic surgery fellowship at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, DC. This was followed by a private fellowship working in microsurgical techniques in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

You can have a very nice change with liposuction of your trunk, which would include your hips, back and upper and lower abdomen. Thank you for your photos. Breast are never same with arms fully raised and at your side. This is true whether or not breast implants are present. You appear to have stretch of the breast fold on the right side, which leaves that implant sitting lower on your chest wall than on the left side. A capsulorraphy can restore that fold. You can discuss it with your plastic surgeon.

Does lower abdomen liposuction always have to be paired with upper abdomen liposuction?

However, if during liposuction your surgeon only takes away unwanted fat from below, you may look odd if your weight changes. You may find you have too little fat below and a new bulge above the belly button. For most people, it is wise to choose liposuction of upper abdomen and the flanks at the same time as lower abdomen to provide the best contour.

Repairing your diastasis will give you a batter waistline, correct the roundness of your upper and lower abdomen, give you better core strength and reduce the width of your abdomen on side view. Your belly button should have a more normal appearance following the procedure, and you will be able to remove the stretched skin of the lower abdomen. I strongly encourage your choice. Thank you for your question and photo. My advice is to pick an implant size that meets your goals and suits your body before deciding the best type of breast lift. Most likely you will need either a lollipop or anchor pattern scar for skin tightening and reshaping. However I cannot determine that from photos alone. In general I think that it is a unwise to pick an implant simply to fill up loose skin. This often leads to an unnatural look that deteriorates over time.
