You should see a dentist right away.   you either have a crack in the tooth, recurrent decay, or the nerve is slowly dying.   Depending on the diagnosis, your treatment will vary. Find a dentist and have it evaluated soon. 
Getting a root canal on tooth #8. But I have a small chip at the base of the tooth. Would you suggest

It depends on how bad the chip is.   it is common for root canal teeth to discolor.  I would recommend possibly bonding (if the chip is very small) or a veneer or crown of the it is larger and take a considerable amount of force when you chew.  
I am 69 and have had a bone graft on lower left. Missing 4 teeth. Is it necessary for me to do implant

I agree that these look a little bulky and masculine.  I would like to see you have a more feminine set of veneers with rounded (softened) edges and slightly lighter in color.   It should be a very nice case.   Best of luck.

You are a good candidate for orthodontics to correct your canted smile.  Find a board certified orthodontist for a consultation.  Should be able to be corrected fairly easily.  Good luck.

You should be a great candidate for porcelain veneers if you do not have the time for orthodontics.  You would be looking at a minimum of 8 veneers to make your case look great.  Find an experienced cosmetic dentist for a consultation.
