Yes, absolutely. This procedure does not require any oral or IV medication that will inhibit your ability to drive or travel. Although oozing is common in the first day, there is no reason that you could not travel home the day of the procedure. Good luck!

You should absolutely be able to breast feed after BA surgery as long as a couple smart decisions are made. First, use an IMF or under the breast incision. This will avoid damage to the gland and duct system of the breast. Second, do not select an implant that is too large. Large implants will create more atrophy and long-term damage to your breast. If you select a medium sized implant and use an IMF incision, you will be protecting your breasts, and likely achieve the best looking result!...

Good question, and it's hard to answer specifically without evaluating your breast, chest wall, and upper body anatomy. The right implant should have the right proportion to achieve the desired results. That said, in general, I think that a UHP implant will look extremely round and fake appearing. We use a 3D imaging system where you can see anticipated results in real-time on your body. Check with your BS plastic surgeon to see if they offer anything like this. Good luck.

You are still in the early stages of wound healing, and too early to tell if you'll end up with a hypertrophic scar or keloid. The best thing you can do is ask your PS if you can begin to apply a silicone or scar topical treatment. Once you are a little farther post-op, you can ask your PS about steroid injections if the scar begins to show signs of increased inflammation. Good luck.

You need to see your PS as soon as possible for an in-person evaluation. It looks like the incision has split open, and the risk is that the implant may become exposed and contaminated. Do not remove the incision, and before attempting any other treatment, make sure your PS examines this. Good luck.

There are a few issues, and unfortunately, I don't think a perfect solution for all. First, you're implants are sitting too low and too far out to the side. Whether the pocket was created too large, or your muscle has put enough pressure on the implants that they have stretched the tissue in the wrong direction, a pocket modification is necessary for correction. I would consider changing your pocket to a sub-fascial pocket which would eliminate risk of downward and outward displacement. ...

Typically breasts should feel noticeably softer around the 4th month after surgery when the swelling around the capsule has resolved. If you are going to develop an early capsular contracture, it's around this point that you'll notice failure to soften, or hardening of the affected breast. Most of the time it's not what you did or did not do as there are a number that just unfortunately occur. You can speak to your plastic surgeon about trying a course of Singulair, or a re-operation...
