Liposuction Safety in Florida
Jan 1, 2020
Your understanding is correct. Office/Ambulatory settings allow a maximum of 4 litres of fat aspiration with liposuction as the only procedure  with an additional procedure, the maximum legal amount is 1 litre  If single or combined procedures are performed in the hospital these laws do not apply. It may or not be obvious why these laws are in place. Simply consider the fact that hospitals are much more equipped to handle any emergency that may arise from any surgical procedure. They also ha…

Hello,
Im here to be gladly assist you with this question.
PCOS will not prevent you from having surgery. You will need a medical clearance from your doctor before continuing with surgery to ensure you are safe for anesthesia. As long you are healthy enough to undergo general anesthesia, then it should be fine to proceed because that is the most important part.
I hope that helped.

Tummy Tuck Open Incision

Thank you for your question. My recommendation is that you follow up with your surgeon as he will be able to tell you what step to follow. Usually wounds would separate at time because of your level of activity might have increased. I don’t think you would worry as it heal fine in a couple of weeks.
How long do drains typically stay in after a tummy tuck?
Drains post-tummy tuck
Feb 3, 2019
Congratulations on your tummy tuck, CLayneB!
The length of time drains stay in place depends on your condition and the discretion of your plastic surgeon.
In general, drains stay in place for two weeks. But if there’s a lot of liquid accumulating inside, then it’s okay to extend it for a couple more weeks.
Just follow the instructions of your reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon and you’ll be fine. He knows your condition best so trust his recommendations.
Best of luck!
What can I do about what seems to be permanent bruising after lipo?
Permanent bruising
Jan 30, 2019
Sorry to hear about your bruising, emdee49.
It’s quite unusual to still have bruising at this point. It usually resolves within a month post-liposuction. However, it might be possible that it’s due to skin staining from hemosiderin, a byproduct of broken down blood cells. This might take years to resolve.
It can also be due to chronic smoking, use of blood thinners, and abnormal bleeding or clotting profile.
I suggest that you consult a reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon for a sec…
