Doctor's answers

Thank you for your question. I highly recommend removing all filler prior to facelift (ideally 1.5-3 months prior) to get you back to a blank canvas and maximize your facelift/bleph result. The facelift can be done wide awake using local anesthesia and oral medications to help you relax. Patients do incredibly well with this and it avoids the side effects of general anesthesia.

Thank you for your question. Laser or peels are routinely done at the same time as facelift. Of note, facelifts can be done wide awake using local anesthesia and oral medications to help you relax. Patients do incredibly well with this and it avoids the side effects of general anesthesia.

Thank you for your question. Based on your photos, treatment of forehead and "11s" are best treated with botox or Daxxify. To lift the face, a facelift is a great option. This can be done wide awake using local anesthesia and oral medications to help you relax. Patients do incredibly well with this and it avoids the side effects of general anesthesia.

Thank you for your question. Patients with Raynaud's are at increased risk of necrosis. It is reasonable to proceed with rhinoplasty as long as you understand the risks. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty and certainly for a Raynaud's patient.

Thank you for providing these photos. It looks like a revision would be necessary to correct this and that massage won't help much at this point as the bone has healed. In general, I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for providing these photos. It looks like your right medial crura / footplate is prominent and yes this can be corrected under local anesthesia. In general, I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for providing these photos. The tight feeling is normal as your body has formed scar tissu - this can take 18+ months to normalize. Some of the bulbosity will improve as your swelling resolves. Should you need a revision to help with your valve, I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for your question. Even with thick skin, further refinement and improvements are possible. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty. It's best to wait 1 year before undergoing revision.

Thank you for your question. Diced cartilage can be effective but it can be done several ways and the details of the technique matter for long term graft survival. The nasal bridge will feel soft eventually yet still solid. Soccer is ok with time and the ear will be soft in the area cartialge is removed but should otherwise behave normally. Thank you for providing these photos. It is possible to add cartilage and also to add a dorsal hump as well. Doing 3D imaging with your surgeon is a tool that is always incredibly useful so you can get a sense of what each change will do to your nose and overall appearance. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

I don't see any photos so it's difficult to comment on your case. Usually, further reduction/improvement is possible except in cases where the skin is extremely thick. Doing 3D imaging with your surgeon is a tool that is always incredibly useful so you can get a sense of what each change will do to your nose and overall appearance. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for providing these photos. It looks like your surgeon did a nice job with this difficult revision. I would not expect it to straighten much more. I personally prefer to avoid implants altogether and there are now at least 3 good options to augment the dorsum using your own tissue. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for providing these photos. I think the changes you desire are still very possible and it is possible to improve the base asymmetry as well. 3D imaging is a tool that is always incredibly useful so you can get a sense of what each change will do to your nose and overall appearance. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.

Thank you for providing these photos. You can absolutely make these changes in revision rhino.

I would recommend extended spreader grafts to lengthen the nose (if this bothers you) and this can also improve the front view as well. Doing 3D imaging with your surgeon is a tool that is always incredibly useful so you can get a sense of what each change will do to your nose and overall appearance. I recommend scarless/closed rhinoplasty for all rhinoplasty regardless of whether primary or revision rhinoplasty.
