Concerns about complications from All-on-6 implants
All on 6

Hi, It is possible for the initial acrylic to sometimes break. It is a temporary measure but usually they don’t. I would request a PMMA or an acrylic version made prior to the final to make sure the teeth and bite is aligned and looks great then I would sign off on them making the final which should be significantly improved.

What is the best option for more teeth visibility when I talk and smile? Should I focus on my teet
Teeth vs Lip
Oct 26, 2022
I am a dentist so I can tell you that you can add up to 2mm of teeth length to improve this dilemma. It would be interesting to hear what the plastic surgeon could do to raise the upper lip as well. Both would probably be too extreme so I would choose one or the other. Veneer all upper teeth that show when you smile. The nice thing is, you can do a “mock up” and see what longer teeth would look like. I would do it no cost if interested but I don’t know where you live. Best of luck! Dr. Tibbitts
How much would it cost to get this fixed?
Cost to fix teeth
Mar 27, 2015
Based on the picture, you would need to have the bonding replaced or repaired. With exam, xray, two 4 surface bonding: approx $700-850.i hope this was helpful. You may consider the repair and orthodontics to close the space. It looks like the teeth may end up looking too wide.
I hate my teeth! What are my best options?
Simple fix to make your teeth look fantastic.
Jan 27, 2015
Your teeth look great but I can understand your desire to make them look better. In my opinion, they could benefit from a couple easy treatments. First, I would whiten your teeth several times. It will cause sensitivity for a few days or a couple weeks but I recommend custom fit trays (from a dentist most likely) and a strong whitening gel. Before or after whitening, I would do some minor enamelplasty, which is a fancy word for reshaping the front teeth. They…
Can my front two teeth be shortened with the level of other teeth?
Shortening Teeth
Jan 27, 2015
It would be very acceptable to shorten your two front teeth. I would recommend doing a bonding repair to the fractured lateral incisor on your left side as well as remove 1.0mm from the two front teeth. It should take about 5 minutes to remove and smooth those teeth. The technical term would be enamelplasty. I hope this helps.
Invisalign & extreme tongue soreness. What should I do?
Toungue Sore from Invisalign-one solution
Jan 24, 2015
I’m sorry you are having this discomfort. Have you evaluated the invisalign aligner to see if there is a rough edge back there? It would be acceptable to use a gentle emory board or nail file to smooth the edge of the tray/aligner. I hope this helps.
Is $45,000 for a Full Set of 4 on 1 Implants Top and Bottom Implants Outrageous?
Cost of an All on 4 procedure
Jan 23, 2015
Cost varies in different areas but the price you were given is in line with the average. I generally offer the following options with associated prices:Option 1. Hybrid dentures (All on 4) permanently screwed in teeth- $22,500-25,000/arch (top or bottom)Option 2.Implant retained removable denture- $12,000 includes new denture, 2 implants, abutments and retention parts.Option 3.Removable dentures-$2,000 approximately per arch (top or bottom)I hope this helps in some way…
