Hi mack1231,Thanks for the post and photos. You will definitely need revision surgery but the fix is not as simple as just removing the gland entirely. You have asymmetry between the left and right chests and areas of over-resection next to areas of under-resection. You absolutely need an in person consultation and the timing of the surgery is just as important as the actual procedure. If you are not going through insurance then the decision is solely between you and your surgeon. What will likely happen is that this will leave some open wounds, albeit very superficial. Your surgeon will guide you on what treatments to apply to help heal the wound. Hi jmmm129,Thanks for your question and photos. From the photos I would say that you would be a good candidate for the areolar approach. Hi,Thanks for the post. It would be unusual for it to be breast tissue regrowth unless you are taking steroids or have an undiagnosed hormone abnormality. Most likely it is scar tissue. The cause of the puffiness can be from residual gland tissue, formation of scar tissue, or incomplete tightening of your areolas.
