There are several types of temporaries you can have made to replace the missing tooth once it’s extracted. You would need to see your Dentist for impression in order to have the appliance made in advance of the tooth being removed. The down side is there is some guess work involved and may require some follow up.

Best option would be Invisalign to straighten the teeth first . Then you would need some bonding done to repair the chipped tooth. From the photos it looks like one tooth is too far out to have just a veneer instead of Invisalign.

Ideally it is always nice to have an X-ray, from what you’re describing, it does sound like teeth need to be extracted. The teeth are weak from the root canals, you then had posts placed which weaken the teeth even more. When it breaks to the gum line, can be difficult to restore, there is a procedure called crown lengthening when bone is removed around the teeth to allow for me healthy tooth structure to work with. However , in your case, sounds like implants would be the best long term…

Sounds like may bd fracture in tooth that will require a crown and maybe root canal. I would recommend you go back to dentist again and discuss symptoms. If there is no response then recommend another opinion.

It can happen that they can chip initially and then can be smoothed out. However,if you’re are not happy with results, then they should be redone at no charge. The dentist should have been aware before starting of areas that may be issue due to habits. I would call or write the office and let them know of your dissatisfaction.
