Can my issues be fixed with fillers or is it better for me to get a full rhinoplasty?
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
You want a “lasting result.” – Filler lasts anywhere from 9-18 months, depending on the type and amount of filler placed. A properly performed surgical rhinoplasty lasts forever.
“Will it be worth it?” – if you are trying to save costs, you have to consider that filler may actually be more expensive over time, especially if you plan to maintain the result of your filler rhinoplasty which will require injections every 1-2 years (cost ~$1000 every time).
“Will fillers make my nose look…
Am I a candidate for nonsurgical rhinoplasty and what fillers are best?
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
I think the key thing to focus on here is that you want to make your nose “smaller…more feminine…more delicate…a bit smaller.”
If that is truly what you are looking for, then filler is not the best option for you.
Nevertheless, to answer your question, I believe that HA based fillers (Restylane, Juvederm, Belotero) are the safest and most reliable fillers available for a variety of reasons, including their ability to be dissolved for either safety reasons or in the event too much…
Why are my nostrils different shapes and how can I fix them naturally?
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
Based on the limited pictures provided, I would say that “natural” or non-surgical options would have a limited role in correcting the shape/size of the nostrils, ala, and base of the nose.
Regardless, I recommend you see someone experienced in both surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty (e.g., board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon) so that you receive an expert and non-biased opinion.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Would it be possible to get rid of some of the roundness and achieve a more pointed nose through nose
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
Based on the pictures provided and your desired result, it seems you are looking to do a few things:
1) increase projection (“slightly pointier”)
2) increase rotation (“slightly lifted”)
3) increased supra-tip break (based on model pictures 3 and 4)
4) increased tip definition? (based on model pictures 3 and 4)
To answer your question, YES, the above traits can be created with a carefully placed filler; however, please note that filler has its limitations, especially compared to the…
Advice for nonsurgical nose job?
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
If you are absolutely set on undergoing non-surgical rhinoplasty using fillers, then the safest product to use are the HA based fillers (e.g., Restylane, Juvederm, Belotero) in that they are not only biodegradable but also reversible.
***NOTE: You may want to reconsider the surgical rhinoplasty, as I think this would give you a much better, more natural result than the filler rhinoplasty would.***
Regardless, I recommend you see someone experienced in both surgical and…
Do steroid injections change the final result? Or only speed up the healing period? (post-op rhinoplas
post-rhinoplasty Steroid Injections | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
Residual swelling in the tip of the nose is an unfortunate but relatively common happening after surgical rhinoplasty. Not only is the amount of swelling difficult to predict, but also the duration as well. This is due to several factors, including the extent of surgery performed, the skin thickness of the patient, and the patient’s intrinsic ability to heal, among other things.
With that being said, steroid injections into the nose can be useful in hastening the resolution of residual tip…
I have a deviated nose and don’t like the asymmetry. Will dermal fillers work or make most nose even b
Nonsurgical Rhinoplasty | Dr. Blake Raggio
Dec 16, 2019
To best answer this question, it is important to understand your specific areas of concerns (e.g., hump, asymmetry, ptotic nose, bulbous tip, etc).
But to answer your question, in general adding filler to the nose will make the nose appear larger.
For you, I think you can achieve a good result with filler, but a great result with surgery.
Regardless, I recommend you see someone experienced in both surgical and non-surgical rhinoplasty (e.g., board-certified Facial…
