Hello! Thank you for your question. I really don’t think a facelift is in your best interests at 27yrs old. If you ask enough surgeons, one might eventually agree to do it for you, but I suspect you wouldn’t be happy with the results which are unlikely to achieve what you’re hoping for. You would be adding quite a lot of scarring, sizeable surgery with risks and costs at a still tender age. It’s difficult to say exactly why you may be experiencing these changes to your face. Sometimes it is…

Hello Joey. Thank you for your question. The first thing to do is to speak to your surgeon. It’s difficult to give much meaningful advice without having either examined you in person or seen all your pre and post-op photos. However, all facelifts tend to loosen off a little over the first 6-12 months. Most people tighten the deep layer quite a lot and the skin less so over the top. Most of the swelling usually resolves over the first few weeks, which can then make the skin then look a little…
Will blepharoplasty alone leave me with uneven look?

Hello,
It’s a little difficult to tell from the photos without examining you in person. I’m sure if someone qualified has examined you and feels an upper blepharoplasty alone will leave you uneven there will be a reason for it. However, from the photos it just looks like you have a little more skin excess on one side than the other, as is really very common and would still usually be corrected with a standard upper blepharoplasty, removing a little more on the side that needs it.
Hope that…

Hello,
Thank you for your question. It sounds like you’ve already done some research as you’ve come to the right conclusion already. The excess skin in your upper eyelid is best corrected as part of an upper blepharoplasty procedure. This is simple to do under local anaesthetic and takes about 30-60mins. Most plastic surgeons would be very happy doing this for you. It’s a little difficult to tell for definite from these photos, but your lateral brow looks fine. It should be slightly above…

Hello,
Thank you for your question. Most of the eyelid treatments apart from surgery don’t really tend to work very well I’m afraid. The best treatment for excess eyelid skin is usually surgery. Upper eyelid surgery is pretty straight forward. Lower eyelid surgery is considerably more complicated. It’s therefore worth going to see someone that does a lot of them for some advice before spending lots of time not things that are unlikely to give you the results you are looking for.
Good luck…

Hello,
Thank you for your question. Laser doesn’t tend to do much here so would be best avoided. As would any cream that someone tries to sell you to tighten the eyelid skin. None of it really works. It’s a bit difficult to tell from the photos, but it seems like you have slightly low eyebrows (mild brow ptosis) and some excess upper eyelid skin (dermatochalasis). The former is correctable with a brow lift. However, brow lifts are much less popular today. This is because none of the…

Hello,
Thank you for your question. The upper eyelid margin is supposed to sit between the top of the pupil and the top of the iris with the eyes in neutral gaze looking forwards. Yours is just at the top of the pupil in these photos. They do therefore look a little low, suggesting mild ptosis. There is also a little skin excess in the upper eyelids (dermatochalasis). The former is a more complicated procedure to tighten the muscles deeper within the eye that lift the eyelid. This is usually…
