Do you have to do upper and lower veneers with the same dentist?
Different Dentist, Same Veneers
Oct 2, 2018
Life happens to us all, and mouths don’t always get finished by the same clinician.See a qualified cosmetic dentist, pay the bigger fee for the expertise and he or she should be able to accomplish what you need. Most of us work closely with a super ceramist that often meets the patient and helps with the shade and design of the restorations so that we all achieve exactly what YOU want!
Does resin bonding prevent root canal on over-prepped teeth?
Pulp Protection
Oct 2, 2018
The best protection from nerve damage is to avoid invading the nerve space. With the teeth already prepared, building the area out with resin bonding should help insulate the nerve. But, the nerve may already be damaged!Hopefully, the dentist that prepared the teeth gave you a heads up that nerve damage is a possible outcome of the procedure. Having done plenty of veneers, to achieve the desired outcome, sometimes you need to reduce more tooth structure in certain areas on certain teeth.Hope…

Close The Gap
Oct 2, 2018
It is hard to see everything in your photo, but gaps between teeth are often a bite issue. That is, the lower teeth strike the uppers with force, causing the uppers to move outward away from the force and gaps appear. We have closed spaces with each of the treatments you mentioned and with combinations of them– Invisalign and veneers, Braces and veneers, Braces or Invisalign and bonding. You need a complete and thorough exam to find the options available for you.
Would veneers and a new dental implant crown all match?
All Should Match
Oct 2, 2018
Made at the same time by the same ceramist who knows what all the prepared teeth look like, the six teeth should all match. The dentist- ceramist team should know how to deal with dissimilar shades of prepared teeth.End result should be a light, bright, natural looking smile.

Four Extractions

Great photos! You have a major amount of crowding, and narrow arches. On the lower arch, two extractions is just right. It is harder to tell on the upper arch, but with the overlaps it should give you enoughspace to line the teeth up.

Aesthetic Teeth Options
Aug 8, 2017
Great question!Your bite and the relationship of the top teeth to the lower teeth is the key. What is causing your grinding?Do you wear a bite guard at night? If your bite on the front teeth is so tight, can the lower front teeth be repositioned? Are your upper front teeth already very thin?We all want to be conservative, but there are times when crowns may be a better choice. To answer your question, Emax is a strong material. In many cases, the veneer may be almost as large as a crown = c…

You are doing the right thing – wear only the lower aligner until you see your orthodontist next week.
