While you can get some improvements in ptosis or droopiness of the breast by placing the implant above the muscle, your risk of developing a capsular contracture is much, much greater above the muscle. You will be happier in the long run if you choose a sub pectoral implant location.

It is very normal to have swelling this soon after surgery. It can take a few weeks for swelling to go down depending on the original size of your breasts.

It is normal for you to feel some discomfort with stretching. As long as you do not have numbness, tingling or weakness all should recover and feel very normal.
