Answer Snippet
Do I have brow ptosis or ptosis?
Eyelids
Sep 12, 2021
Thank you for your question. It doesn’t seem like you have brow ptosis. You may have mild eyelid ptosis, but the position is fairly normal for Asians. You would benefit from a double eyelid procedure to brighten your eyes. A suture technique would be appropriate for you.
Am I a better candidate for buccal cheek fat removal or jaw Botox?
Buccal fat removal and botox
Sep 12, 2021
It’s possible you would benefit from both.Removing the buccal fat would slim your cheeks and the botox to the masseters would slim your jaw.You could try the botox first if your are undecided on the surgery
Is it safer to remove the masseter muscle, the cortical bone or to simply get bot
Jaw reduction
Sep 12, 2021
Thanks for your question. The safest option for jaw reduction is to botox the masseter muscle. It works well but will need to be repeated periodically.Removing the cortical bone surgically is a safe option, but it does require surgery and there are risks involved.I advise against removing the muscle surgically as it can be difficult to remove it symmetrically.
Are round textured implants inserted above muscle a good idea? I like the fake lo
Above muscle
Aug 1, 2021
Implants above the muscle are fine if you have enough soft tissue coverage to camouflage the edges.Whether you want textured implants or not will depend on whether you are willing to accept the low risk of Implant associated lymphoma. If you are choosing a round implant, you may want to consider smooth or nano-textured implants that have a low to zero risk of lymphoma. You probably only need textured implants if you are using tear drop shaped implants.
Double eyelid done too high and deep, is it possible to reverse it?
Reversal of eyelid surgery
Aug 1, 2021
Thanks for your question.Yes, it is possible to change your eyelid crease to a lower position and improve your look.Depending on the technique used previously, scar tissue or suture material would need to be removed and a new fold created. Therefore it can only be revised through an open technique at this stage. If you did a suture blepharoplasty and the fold was too high, the suture can be removed within 2 weeks through a small incision, but it would be difficult now.
When can I consider getting a revision double eyelid surgery?
Double eyelid revision
Aug 1, 2021
Thanks for your question. At 2 weeks, your eyelids will still be swollen. The fold will definitely come down as the swelling resolves.Early revision would only be indicated if there was significant asymmetry between your eyes.
Fat grafting vs Silicone implant, which is better for chin augmentation?
Chin augmentation
Aug 1, 2021
Thank you for your question.Fat grafting is not a good option for chin augmentation. It can add volume, but fat is soft, so it doesn’t give nice chin definition and can even droop if too much fat is grafted.Chin augmentation is best achieved with silicone implants or genioplasty. The scar can be in the mouth or under the chin. With regards to your questions:1. Implants are more effective than fat grafting2. Silicone implants are not carcinogenic3. Implants have a better longevity than fat…

It is definitely possible to bring your bust size down to a 32C in one procedure. You would most likely need an anchor pattern scar

Blepharoptosis
Jul 18, 2021
It looks like you may have developed right eye ptosis due to Levator dehiscence. Your right brow is higher than your left, most likely due to your frontal is muscle elevating it to open your eye.You will need to have an in person assessment, but ptosis correction may be appropriate for you
Breast lift + nipple reconstruction b cup size, any suggestions?
Breast procedures
Jul 18, 2021
Thanks for your questions.Your inverted nipple can be corrected, but it may interfere with breast feeding in the future.Your right nipple can be reduced without interfering with breast feeding, but it would be wise to defer this until you have completed your family. You don’t need a breast lift as your breasts are not droopy.
Do breast implants (Motiva Ergonomix in particular) feel part of you?
Feeling
Jul 18, 2021
If your implants make up a larger proportion of your breast they may not feel as part of you as smaller implants
Motiva Ergonomix BWD and width selection
Breast implant profile
Jul 18, 2021
Thanks for your question. The width of your chosen implant must fit your body’s dimensions. If it is too narrow it will produce a wide cleavage which looks unnatural. If they are too wide they can encroach into your armpits. There is about a 2cm range we can consider depending on your preference. With regard to choosing the profile it just depends on the look you want. Mini gives a very natural look, Demi has an augmented look especially on a small frame. Full will give a fake look.Hope this h…

Painful red bump
Apr 10, 2019
Thank you for your question.
A painful red bump is indicative of some type of infection/inflammation. To determine whether that is related to your rhinoplasty requires assessment in person with a trained professional.
If your ‘nose job’ was done using a silicone implant, it could be a sign that the implant is about to extrude through the skin.
It’s best to see a plastic surgeon for an assessment.
Hope this helps!
Can I have tiplasty and alarplasty only without the rhino (goretex bridge implant
Subtle changes
Apr 10, 2019
Thank you for your question.
A tip plasty and alar plasty can be done without augmenting your dorsum.
This can give you increased tip definition and reduced alar flaring. The changes can be subtle.
Hope this helps!

Asymmetry
Apr 10, 2019
Thank you for your question.
It is too early to judge the final result and it is common to have differing amounts of swelling in your eyes.
Hope this helps
