There are a myriad of things to do for skin opening after surgery. I would recommend to follow your doctors recommendations. My prefer way to address the issue is using Medihoney. A possible explanation to your condition is: bruising due to your surgical procedure. It is too early to determine if the skin to the midline is going to survive or not. Decreasing swelling, improving blood flow and making sure that you do NOT smoke, will help bring oxygen to the area.

A possible explanation to your condition is: The presence of the Lower lateral cartilages is responsible for the bulges that you allude to. There is a possibility that some soft tissue may have grown overtime. There is NO non invasive option. You will be better served by tip surgery.
