After wearing dentures for so long there will be some adjustment. However, most issues can be addressed and long term your health will benefit from not having to take your teeth in and out.

It is unusual to break it down in this manner. Usually we charge a set fee that includes the temporaries. The second set maybe in case you aren’t happy with the look of the first ones.

Although I agree with the previous answers, I believe you might be happier with your dentist doing a tiny bit of recontouring of the two front teeth. This might entail just rounding the corners of the teeth.

Go back to the surgeon to make sure you don’t have an infection. Although not normal, the spots don’t appear to be a serious issue, but better to be safe.

I would address the overbite and spacing first with an orthodontist, possibly invisalign. After that is corrected, try teeth whitening.

Go back to the dentist. Did you approve them before they were cemented? If I have a patient whom doesn’t like the veneers at try in we send them back to the lab. He should be willing to work with you to give you what you want.

Did the dentist shave/file too closely as to expose a nerve?

We never know when preparing a tooth how the nerve will be affected. Most times there isn’t an issue but every once in awhile the nerve is traumatized by the drill resulting in the need for a root canal. The dentist didn’t do anything wrong, it is just how the tooth responded.
