Having your natural teeth ‘prepped’ (thin layer of natural tooth enamel removed) for crowns/veneers is not a bad thing — please don’t think of your teeth as “ruined” — the restorative materials dentists use today can be stronger, more beautiful and more functional than natural tooth material. And without that thin layer of enamel removed, crowns or veneers often look bulky and unnatural.You mention posts being placed, so I’m assuming the teeth had endodontic (root canal) therapy…
