The latest adhesive bonding systems enable veneers to have a strong stable adhesion to dentin as well as enamel. More than likely the veneer design in cases of erosion and enamel deficiencies would require veneer coverage in a 360 degree fashion, more of a veneer-crown to offer maximum protection and strength.

Cold sensitivity after removal of Invisalign attachments can be an indication of exposed dentin or porous enamel. You should give it a week or so as your enamel can naturally remineralize with saliva, or use a densensitizing toothpaste. If the sensitivity persists, you should return to your dentist who can apply a desensitizing varnish or treatment. In our office, we use a dental laser with excellent results for calming sensitive tooth nerves down as well.
