Topical finasteride can be useful for some patients. It depends on your skin type and thickness. I recommend a combination with glycerin instead of phosphatidylcholine. It will take 8-12 months before you see reasonable results.

FUE can be done in a very subtle way so it is not apparent to the people around you. But this will really depend on the length of your hair. The donor hair is normally taken from the back of your head. If your hair is long enough, then we can hide the donor area. See example in the posted link.

If minoxidil is irritating your scalp, then you should stop using it. The alcohol in most minoxidil solutions will dry the scalp and can cause irritation.
