Great question! With your nipples being as low as they are, I think you’d be sorely disappointed if you went with an augmentation alone. What I mean by that is that your implants would be quite high, and your breasts would be quite low on your chest wall. A properly perform procedure, by a board-certified plastic surgeon, will offer you the best chance for the most aesthetic outcome.

Sounds like you’re right on track. I tell most patients give it a solid 8-12 weeks for the breasts to demonstrate they same softness as they had before breast surgery of any type. Abnormal nipple sensation is pretty typical too. They could be extra sensitive or less sensitive – both typically resolve in a few months.

However, your goals are very reasonable, and your photos suggest this outcome as a possibility in that implant size range you listed. Sounds like you’re on track. You’ve done your homework…use one of the first three plastic surgeons you saw. Crescent lifts offer minimal movement of the upper half of the areola, with maximal chance to have a misshapen/oblong/elliptical areola. Always keep in mind, attempting to lift breasts with larger and larger implants, just to save on a shorter skin scar is not an optimal choice of treatment. I anticipate your surgeon appropriately closed the incision in layers. As early in the recovery period as you are, you’re probably looking at slight tethering from dissolvable stitches under the skin. Give it time. This likely will pass and round out. It’s not unusual to have requests by patients for a certain size implant, be it 300cc, 400cc, or 600+cc. Obviously all patients are have different anatomy and healing potential, but I find that 4 weeks of uncomplicated postop recovery after labiaplasty permits strengthening of the labial closure to the point where intercourse/cycling is permissible. Prior to this timepoint, you may run the risk of having incisional separation. Sounds like you’re right on track! Best of luck.
