Expander to implant

Seroma is not a contraindication.
Green colour of seroma raises the doubt about infection with pseudomonas bugs. One has to be very careful of replacing expander with implants in presence of infection. Obviously, every case needs to be treated in own its merit and I myself have replaced implants in cases with suspected infection. Culture of seroma of fluid may help towards postoperative antibiotics.

Hi
I looks like small blood collection ( haematoma) after surgery. Most would heal without any intervention. Some of them do required ultrasound guided or open drainage

Seroma after mastectomy

Hi
You do not need to do anything as most seroma resolve on their own without any intervention. If it is painful, then it would require aspiration ( draining) . It’s best performed under ultrasound guidance as fluid sometimes is divided into different compartments in the seroma cavity ( loculation).
However, you must continue arm mobilisation ( as per postoperative physiotherapy protocol) as it may lead to frozen shoulder because of reduced arm activity.
