Will braces help align my bite and help my bottom teeth not to be slanted?
Bite alignment
Mar 25, 2018
You are only looking at your teeth and not at the root cause of your problem. Your bite is determined by your TMJ (jaw joint), You need to take appropriate images of your TMJ (cone beam CT or MRI) first to check proper positioning of the jaw and then you move the teeth to support this healthy position . Without imaging, you are doing a guessing game and maybe moving the teeth into an incorrect alignment of the jaw joint, resulting in future bite, wear, joint problems and…
Can I remove my dental crown a second time if I am unhappy with the color?
Dark crown
Dec 12, 2015
You should voice your concern and get it redone if you don’t like. After all, this is your smile and you should be happy with it. However it would be wise for you to inform your doctor at the crown try-in rather than after it is cemented. We usually do a try in with a variety of cement shade to make sure everything matches prior to cement. At the end, your dentist would want you to be completely happy with your smile.
Actually I’m suffering while I smile and I don’t know what is the exact reason. Any suggestions?
Smile problem
Dec 4, 2015
Your main problem is that your jaw is too far back and your bite is overclosed. This will also create a TMJ(jaw joint) problem later on if your don’t have one already. You can bring it forward without surgery by wearing a splint first. This will align your jaw properly and re-orient your jaw muscles. Then your teeth can be moved with braces. You will need to see someone knowledgeable in this concept which involves a combination of TMJ and orthodontics. Most professionals only have training…

implant tooth replacement
Nov 16, 2015
I’m not sure exactly what’s going on in your case since you didn’t specify what other teeth are remaining in addition to the molars, and whether the teeth are located on your upper or lower jaw. But if you are looking at replacing all your teeth, you can 1) use multiple implants with fixed bridges 2) use less but still multiple implants for a implant supported denture 3) use some implants for a retained denture. They are listed in varying degrees of how close to natural teeth they would feel…

Loose implant repair
Nov 16, 2015
If you lose the implant, you can re-graft the site, wait a few months depending on where the implant is located, and then re-place the implant. However, the more important question is determining what caused it to fail the first time or else you are doomed to failure in the future as well. Is the bite on it bad?, Was there lack of hygiene control? Would having a wider or longer implant work better? The “why?” is more important than the “how”.
Is there anything I can do about my smile?
Smilemakover Options
Nov 16, 2015
There are several options for improving your smile depending on what you want as your final results. You can do orthodontics if you are just wanting to align them. If you are wanting facial changes, you can align your bite. With proper training and background, this is usually done in conjunction with your orthodontics. If you want a quicker treatment that will address all of these issues, you can do porcelain veneers or resin veneers in conjuction with your bite.
